Virginia Italia Harper is a New York-based designer with a global perspective, blending industrial design, interiors, and product innovation. After earning her Master’s in Industrial Design from Domus Academy in Milan, she worked with renowned brands like Cassina and Illy before returning to the U.S. in 2006. Her career spans roles at Peter Marino and Rockwell Group, as well as leading store design for Guerlain US under LVMH.

Currently, Virginia is the Head of Store Design for the Estée Lauder brand, where she drives innovative retail concepts and immersive brand experiences worldwide.

In 2019, she reignited Virginia Harper Design, coinciding with the launch of her furniture collection for De Sede at Salone del Mobile. Her work has been produced by Poltrona Frau, Draenert, and Giorgetti, alongside collaborations with DDC. Balancing interiors and retail innovation, she has shaped compelling brand environments for luxury beauty clients, including as Creative Director for Eve Lom.

Passionate about reinterpreting classic materials in fresh, timeless forms, Virginia continues to push the boundaries of design across furniture, interiors, and retail spaces.
